About Us


The ‘Swami Rama Nishkam Karmyog Trust’, founded by Swami Hariharananda Bharti at Malethi in the year 2001, was established to provide literacy, vocational training & socio-economic development to the underprivileged & underserved sections of the society in the hill districts of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand. The Trust is registered with the Registrar of Societies, Rishikesh (Uttarkhand) India vide Registration No. 109/130 dated 27-11-2001

Presently, the Trust is running a school (Kindergarten to Class X), a vocational training institute and has ayurvedic herbal plantations in the region.

Objectives

The Main aims and objectives of the Society are:

a)    To undertake philanthropic work besides disseminating knowledge and providing training in the fields of Yoga, Philosophy, Vedic Science, Ayurveda,  Indian Literature and Culture irrespective of caste, creed, country or racial discrimination.

b)     To disseminate the teaching, preaching and literature of HH Dr Swami Rama.

c)      To endeavor for establishment of schools, colleges, vocational training universities, yoga centres and spiritual, social & educational upliftment centres and to receive/grant donations from/to within the country or abroad for the above purposes.

d)     To work for social reconstruction, renovation, upliftment and establishing unity in the society by writing/arranging to write literature, history and philosophy to gain spiritual or social consciousness.

e)     To arrange & establish charitable hospitals, health centers & herbal health gardens, encourage herbal plantations and to prepare & distribute herbs.

f)      To assist the needy in the society to attain self-sufficiency and to provide all possible relief in their hardships and to generate employment opportunities for such people.

g)     To provide, without any discrimination, food & shelter to the guests, trainees and visitors at the society.

h)    To provide all possible assistance to people suffering from natural calamities (viz. earthquake, flood, plague, famine etc.) and adversities.

i)        To organize, from time to time, spiritual seminars based on the teachings of H.H. Shri Swami Rama, publish spiritual, vedic & ayuevedic books and to conduct/help in conducting research.

j)        To provide assistance/donations to institutions engaged in the above activities, to assist/take assistance from other organisations formed with similar objectives, to co-operate/accept cooperation in management and to adopt such institutions for better management and to receive government funding.

k)   (a) To undertake any such other work which is in the interest of the society & the nation or co-operates in awakening spiritual consciousness;

(b)   To purchase, accept as donation or to take over for any kind of management; movable-immovable property in the name of the Trust.
